Juneteenth Shabbat at Washington Hebrew Congregation
Tonight the WHC community pays tribute to and celebrates Juneteenth as members of the Jews of Color group share what the holiday means to them. Rabbi Kelly Whitehead, the creator of NFTY’s Teen Jews of Color Fellowship, will offer remarks during the service.
Everyone is invited to join Kol Or the Jews of Color Caucus for the ninth annual Juneteenth Havdalah celebrating African American culture and liberation through music, dance, song, and learning. Everyone is welcome to this all community event!
