Between Islands and Diaspora is a research and oral history project led by four local Jews of Color researchers in Hawaiʻi. Together, they are documenting JoC, Jewish, and Native Hawaiian experiences and building an accessible digital and physical archive, including stories from historically underrepresented communities such as Kānaka Maoli Jews. The archive will be available online and preserved at Hebrew Union College and the University of Hawaiʻi-West Oʻahu, creating a lasting resource for JoC communities, educators, and researchers.
